Mines & Pines Revisited in Hibbing

The Mines & Pines Revisited art and music festival is filling Hibbing’s Bennett Park this weekend.
It began Friday and also goes from 10-6 Saturday.
“It’s great music, great food,” Mines & Pines Board Chair Cynthia Kafut-Hagen said. “And we have some really great art to buy. It’s real unique things that we are selling.”
Kafut-Hagen was part of bringing this festival back to Hibbing a few years ago.
“It was Mines & Pines, and we changed it to Mines & Pines Revisited as a nod to Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited,” she said. “So the original music and the art that is just a little higher quality than what you typically see.”
