Over 1600 people who want to support children’s mental health are attending the Minnesota Association of Children’s Mental Health conference, which is taking place at the DECC this week.
The three day event started Sunday, and includes over 70 workshops and several speakers.
Plus the exhibitor hall is a bustling place.
The association’s executive director, Brandon Jones, said, “Mental health can be a scary space for folks to navigate. So knowing who the people are who are doing the assessments, or learning about new methodologies and other tools and tips is really good. That’s one of the things we’ve gotten a lot of feedback about, is having this space available.”
The conference continues through Tuesday.
