Minnesota Power hosts Women in Energy event
Minnesota Power hosted their “Women in Energy” event in Downtown Duluth on Friday. The event highlighted local women who are leaders in energy, government, business, and labor both in our region and across the state. The event also hosted a couple panel discussions which addressed energy policy and professional development. Other panels focused on northern Minnesota regional issues and how our region contributes to the clean-energy transition.

The keynote speaker was Ida Rukavina, commissioner of Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation. She was joined by other leaders including Senator Jen McEwen, Jessica Burdette of the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Julie Lucas of Mining Minnesota and more.
