MN Fraternal Order of Police Lake Superior Lodge 9 hosts annual Spring Fundraiser

On Saturday evening in Hermantown, the Minnesota Fraternal Order of Police Lake Superior Lodge 9 held their 2025 Spring Fundraiser.

The night’s festivities included food, raffles, and a silent auction. The celebration is Lake Superior Lodge 9’s only fundraiser for the year, and the money is used to help police officers in need in a variety of different ways.

“Money that we raise at this event go to help officers in times of need. That may be supporting them after a critical incident or supporting their families after a critical incident. And the second mission that we have is Officer wellness. We do some mental health awareness stuff and urging people to really explore mental health and stay healthy in that aspect of their life,” said Mike Jambor, vice president of Lake Superior Lodge 9.

The Fraternal Order of Police Lake Superior Lodge 9 is made up for police officers active and retired from not only Duluth, but across the Northland.

The AAD Shrine Meeting & Event Center in Hermantown was packed with supporters and members of the order, and Jambor expressed his gratitude for the large amount of support from the community.

“It’s very important, which is why when we have a turnout like this, it means the world to us. We appreciate the support from the community, from the sponsors, and from the large members that come together to make this event happen. Because it’s our one opportunity to raise money to accomplish our thing,” said Jambor.
