Fatal motorcycle crash in Douglas County

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s office, deputies were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash near Peterson Rd in Lakeside Township on Thursday evening.

Despite efforts by deputies and first responders, the rider died at the scene. His identity is currently being withheld out of respect for the family and friends.

In addition to the local deputies, the Wisconsin State Patrol, Mayo Ambulance, Life Link helicopter, Maple Fire Department, and Lakeside Fire Department responded to the accident.
