Motorcycle rider from Hermantown killed in crash, city releases name

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Hermantown from Wednesday morning.
The city said that a 71-year-old man riding a motorcycle on Stebner Road was hit by an SUV traveling west on Miller Trunk Highway.
He’s been identified as Gregory Haynes.
Both Haynes and the female driver of the vehicle were from Hermantown. She and a passenger did not have serious injuries, according to police.
The State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
