NERCC bakes 1,000 pies for Chum’s Rhubarb Festival

Chum’s Rhubarb festival is Saturday, and this fundraiser requires a lot of volunteers and donations.

The staff and inmates at Northeast Regional Corrections Center gave some time to cause, baking 1,000 pies.

NERCC has helped the Rhubarb Fest by making Rhubarb crisps and cookies, but never pies. So while they say it was challenging it, it was also rewarding.
