New boutique hotel in downtown Duluth
Our cameras got a look inside downtown Duluth’s new boutique hotel.
The Intrepid-Duluth is right across the street from Greysolon plaza. There are eight rooms, each is unique and have historic features with modern comforts.
The Intrepid-Duluth hotel officially opened in June and the hotel manager, Dillon Forcier, tells us they’ve received really positive feedback from guests so far.
“We’re going to have some really cool stuff to offer to our tourists and people that are looking for a staycation, the people that are here for work, and of course, just anybody that needs a short-term rental area.”
Forcier said the Intrepid-Duluth offers a completely different housing experience than most hotels. “You get the privacy with our suites, but you also get more space. You can sleep up to four people in all of our rooms. Most of them are one bedroom, and so you can have that closed-off privacy between you, friends, kids, whoever it is.”
Forcier said another thing that makes the Intrepid-Duluth so unique is the location, being right across from Greysolon ballroom and near businesses like Zeitgeist and Blacklist Brewery and all the activities that come with downtown Duluth’s newly revitalized hart district.
