New report shows Minnesota’s gas prices are on the decline

According to GasBuddy the Average gasoline prices in Minnesota have fallen 9.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.11/g on Monday.

That’s according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,856 stations in Minnesota. They found the cheapest station in Minnesota was priced at $2.59/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.39/g, a difference of 80.0 cents per gallon.

GasBuddy also reports that Wisconsin is down 13.0 cents per gallon from last week’s $3.14/g.

“While I do expect gas prices to continue trending lower, any abrupt change in the current tariff situation could eventually bring the decline to a halt. For now, the good news is that gas prices typically reach their yearly peak around April 10, so we may have already witnessed ‘peak pain’ at the pump for 2025,” says Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.
