We are wrapping up National Crime Victims’ Week, and that’s when the St. Louis County Attorney hosts the annual Northeast Minnesota Criminal Justice Summit.
It took place at the Pike Lake Beach and Golf Club on Thursday.
Training touched on financial compensation for crime victims, human trafficking, communicating with children with disabilities, and sexual assault case testing.
St. Louis County Attorney Kim Maki told us, “We do this work to help people. And we want to broaden the resources available for crime victims.”
