Northern Lights Foundation hosts annual Children’s Charity Gala

The Northern Lights Foundation held their annual Children’s Charity Gala at the DECC Wednesday evening.

This event is one of their largest fundraising opportunities throughout the year. The gala also provides the community the opportunity to mingle with Northern Lights staff and families while learning more about their mission.

This year, guests were treated to hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions, live music, and a sit-down dinner. Attendees were also invited to participate in an awards ceremony and formal program outlining to work of the Northern Lights Foundation.

The Northern Lights Foundation was founded by Dr. Ken Larson. “We’ve had it for quite a few years now,” said Larson. The mission of the Northern Lights Foundation is to provide support for families of children who have life-threatening illnesses.
