Friday, for the first time ever, the Annual Northland BIPOC Business Showcase was held at The Depot. It has previously been held at the Washington Center. 2023 marked the third year the showcase happened.
A total of 34 vendors were present along with local food, live music, and a fashion show.
The showcase acts as a way to highlight representation in the Northland. Organizer Kia Ronning says, “It’s exceptionally important, just to see we’re here as a community and we are thriving, and we are having so much fun. And just, to show the best parts of us to the community.”
The event was organized by the Northland Black Business Showcase.
