One person dead following domestic disturbance call in Beltrami County

One person is dead following a domestic disturbance call on Saturday, August 17, in Ten Lake Township in Beltrami County. Authorities responded to a domestic violence call after 4:36 am. Upon arrival, Leech Lake Police Officers found one person unresponsive and not breathing. The individual was transported to a local hospital where life saving efforts continued, but was the individual was pronounced dead.

A second person involved in the incident was placed under arrest and is in custody pending charges.

The identities of those involved are not being released by authorities at this time.

Law enforcement does not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
