One week left to apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance for June/July storm damage

Those affected by the June 16th through July 4th storms and flooding have one more week to apply for federal disaster assistance.

The final day to apply for assistance is October 27th, 2024.

FEMA Assistance may include funds for: temporary housing if unable to live in damaged residence, support the repair or replacement of residence, disaster-caused expenses and needs, moving or storage, medical assistance and childcare.

Individuals in a Minnesota county designated for FEMA individual assistance can apply through:

To apply for FEMA assistance, you will need: your Social Security Number, address of the damaged residence, insurance coverage information, current phone number and mailing address, bank account or routing numbers for direct deposit of funds (if requested).
