Packed courtroom for latest hearing about a homicide in Superior
Three police detectives testified on Monday about a homicide case in Superior.
Family and friends packed a courtroom in the Douglas County Courthouse on Monday, for a preliminary hearing for Aaron Donald Johnson.
He’s accused of shooting and killing Derek Walczak back in October in a garage on Ogden Avenue.
Three police detectives testified on Monday.
They said that Walczak had multiple gunshot wounds. He had been in a romantic relationship with Johnson’s ex.
Many people in the courtroom wore buttons with Walczak’s picture.
Judge Kelly Thimm ruled that there is probable cause that Johnson committed a felony, and set a date in February for his arraignment.
