Paddlin’ for the Boundary Waters a fundraising event at Bent Paddle kicked off Friday July 5th. The event benefited Sportsman for the Boundary Waters, an organization working towards conservation of the Boundary Waters.

The event featured live music from Dead Man Winter with Dave Simonett, the lead singer of Trampled by Turtles. The event also hosted outdoor games, a silent auction, and a canoe raffle.

“We wanted to give an opportunity for folks to come out and experience something really cool,” said Lukas Leaf Executive Director at Sportsman for the Boundary Waters. “We have a really cool canoe raffle, a one-of-a-kind, custom canoe with Trampled by Turtles artwork from San Morin and Merrimack. And we’re selling swag and doing a little silent auction inside.”

The canoe raffle winner will be announced at Bent Paddle Sunday July 7th.
