Pancake fly-in breakfast planned for the public at Life Link III in Hibbing

Life Link III in Hibbing hosting a fly in pancake breakfast

The team at Life Link III in Hibbing wants to show the public what they're all about with a fly in pancake breakfast in June.

Life Link III in Hibbing has been serving the region’s critical care patients since 2008, transporting about 300 people a year.

Brandi Maki is a flight nurse. “I get to take care of the sickest patients in the Northland, and that is very rewarding,” she told us.

One of the pilots is Jackson Brunsvold. “One of the coolest things is when people you’ve helped come back and say hello and thank you.”

But not everyone knows they are there. Or what they’re all about. So they’re hosting their first ever Pancake Fly-in Breakfast on Saturday, June 8th, from 7am-12pm. You can check out the aircraft and meet the people whose mission is to save lives.

No tickets are required, but they will accept free-will donations to help with their on-going training.

“We do a lot of behind the scenes training and education,” shared Tim Lenzmeier. “A lot of things go into what we do for our patients.”

If you’d like to help sponsor the breakfast or want more information, contact Jacob Carpenter at jdcarpenter@lifelinkiii.com. There will be a place for static air craft to set up, and classic cars as well.

Life Link III is a non-profit made up of ten health care organizations.
