Peaceful resolution achieved in Lincoln Park police situation
At around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening the Duluth Police Department’s Crisis Negotiations Team responded to the 3000 block of Restormel Street as they performed a welfare check for a female inside the residence.
At the time she was refusing to leave the residence as police asked the public to stay away from the area. However after about an hour of negotiations, the female exited the residence peacefully, and was taken to a hospital for mental health evaluation.
No injuries were reported during the situation.
