Planet Fitness adds plate loaded equipment for strength training

A look at some new plate loaded equipment at Planet Fitness.
Spring is here, and maybe you’re looking to mix up your workout routine. Planet Fitness has added three new plate loaded strength training machines.
Gabe Sundquist showed us around. First up, the supine bench press, which can work your triceps and chest. “This is a very popular machine,” he said.
Then the hack squat, for your hamstrings and quads, and even your calves. And finally, the seated calf machine.
Sundquist shared, “Strength training is good for bone density, balance and coordination.”
As for recovery, he said it’s important to stretch before and after your workouts.
