Planned outage for 471 Lake Country Power members

Lake Country Power members near Britt served by the Sand Lake Substation will experience a planned power outage at 8:30am on Wednesday October 16th. The outage is expected to last for three hours.

According to Lake Country Power, the outage is so crews can safely energize a new substation. The new substation is expected to improve electric service and reliability.

Lake Country Power is calling all affected members and has left voicemails if unavailable.
