Planned power outage for Lake Country Power members set for August 28

Lake Country Power officials have announced that customers served by Sturgeon Lake B Substation will be without power starting at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28. The outage will last for about 6 hours.

Sturgeon Lake B Substation serves more than 650 customers in areas near Barnum, Moose Lake, Sturgeon Lake, Holyoke, Bruno, Kerrick and Willow River. The outage is being done for crews to safely rebuild line.

“Members impacted by planned outages are called in advance,” explained Tami Zaun, Public Relations Coordinator. “If unavailable, Lake Country Power will leave a voicemail to inform members about the planned outage. Keeping your contact information up to date with Lake Country Power will help ensure you receive notification.”
