Portion of Duluth Lakewalk to close temporarily for tree removal
Officials with the City of Duluth have announced that a section of the Lakewalk between 40th and 43rd Avenues East will be temporarily closed to all traffic on Wednesday, August 28 to allow for tree removal work.
The closure will begin at 7:30 a.m. that morning. Kelli Latuska, the Public Information Officer with the city said the work is expected to be complete by 4:00 p.m.
“For the sake of pedestrian and worker safety, please stay clear of construction zones and exercise caution in this area,” said Latuska. “Thanks to the public for their patience and cooperation while this work is completed.”
