Proctor downgrades water and sewer restriction

Proctor, MN – The City of Proctor has downgraded their April 11, 2023 water and sewer use restriction to a conservation notice.

The City asked residents and businesses to immediately reduce their water usage so that their sewer lines and manholes don’t become overfilled due to melting snow and groundwater entering into the system last week.

Authorities now says sanitary sewer levels have dropped below critical levels and are holding steady. The City is asking residents and businesses to practice conservation efforts such as taking shorter showers, flushing less and only washing full loads of laundry and dishes.
