Project fun day hosted by 4-H gives kids a hands-on learning experience
4-H hosted their Project Fun Day to give kids a chance to get involved in their communities by doing hands-on activities.
4-H Youth Development hosted Project Fun day today at the Depot. 3rd-5th graders had the opportunity to attend hands-on learning sessions.
4-H is an out of school, hands-on learning program that is comprised of more than 100 public universities across the nation. Their goal is to teach young people by doing.
Organizers say that 4-H has been around for over 100 years now giving kids an opportunity to get involved.
At today’s event, kids had the chance to learn some American Sign Language, art, cupcake decorating, cupcake decorating, pet care, pollinators and STEM activities.
The event was free for kids to attend.
