Duluth’s Fourth Fest is taking stage at Bayfront Festival Park just a day after the Hairball concert. Tuesday’s lineup incudes Derek Jones & the 50 South, Wild Horses, and Black River Revue.
The DECC’s communications director Lucia Amundsen says events like this are important, “Duluth Summers are very special. Beautiful days are precious, and it is an opportunity for people to just be and gather, maybe celebrate this country, but also what makes it special for them, their family hanging out, just enjoying themselves”
Organizer have been keeping an eye on the forecast, and the fireworks are still set for 10 p.m. Tuesday too. The WDIO Storm Track weather team says weather systems set to move into the region have lost power, and showers will likely clear in time for fireworks.
The DECC says bring a raincoat, appetite, and good humor. The whole event is free.
