Rice Lake Road open now following construction

Rice Lake Road in Duluth to re-open no later than 5pm today. Motorists can still expect delays.
The joint project between St. Louis County and the South St. Louis County Soil and Water Conservation District closed the road for three weeks so crews could put in a new culvert.
Officials with the county say that though the road is open, you can still expect delays.
On August 31st, crews will be paving the road so it’s advised you take an alternate route that day.
Delays are expected to last through September 8th.
County Officials are cautioning people to slow down and keep an extra careful eye on the road when travelling through the area.
