Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center celebrate their 20th Anniversary

Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center is celebrating 20 years, and honoring the memory of the beloved veteran.
The center is holding a three day weekend of events ranging from weapon displays, to a puppy parade.
On Friday, visitors were able to tour the museum for half price admission, and saw vintage weapons on display from the last century.
People were also able to learn more about Richard I. Bong, from historian Mike O’Connor, and film-maker John Anderson.
Mike O’Connor wrote “America’s Ace of Aces” about the veteran pilot from Poplar, Wisconsin. While, John Anderson made the documentary “Shooting Star: The Story of Richard I. Bong.
There was also the Pint Full of History, where a cash bar was available. Warrior Brew is also releasing, the Patriot American IPA “Ace of Aces,” in honor of Richard I. Bong.
