Roadways reopen around Vision Northland project

Roads in the Duluth Medical District will return to the original traffic patterns as Essentia nears completion of the St. Mary’s Medical Center replacement project.

The stretch of 4th Ave. E. from 2nd St. down to Superior St. reopens Friday afternoon. 

Also, all lanes will be open on 2nd St. from 4th Ave. E. to 5th Ave. E.. Additionally, all lanes of Superior St. from 4th Ave. E. to 5th Ave. E will reopen. Fencing and barriers are to be removed there too.

However, 1st St. from the east side of 4th Ave. E. to 6th Ave. E., will remain closed until closer to the project’s completion.
