Rock Ridge students welcome the Minnesota Supreme Court for hearing

Students at Rock Ridge High School have a unique learning opportunity on Thursday when the Minnesota Supreme Court hears oral arguments for a real case from the students. The live hearing is only open to students and faculty, however Rock Ridge students will be live streaming the proceedings at 10 a.m. You can watch the hearing below.

The students were briefed on the case and courtroom proceedings on Wednesday, September 25th and the Performing Arts Center at Rock Ridge will function as an actual courtroom during the hearing. Law enforcement will be present in and around Rock Ridge High School throughout the day. Any violations of courtroom decorum will result in consequences enforced by court marshals.

Students and faculty will witness the Court in action and engage with the justices through assemblies and classroom activities scheduled throughout the day.
