Sabrina Ullman: Light snow with warmer temperatures
This weekend will feel like a heat wave after the brutal wind chills we dealt with this past week. Afternoon highs today will be in the upper 20s to low 30s. There will be light snow with most of the Northland getting 1-2 inches of snow on Saturday.
Lingering snow is possible on Sunday, and freezing drizzle is likely in the early morning. Temperatures will reach the low to mid-30s. A light southeast wind will persist through the weekend.
Warmer weather will continue on Monday as we again reach the low to mid-30s. Light snow is possible, and we could see some rain midday to the early afternoon.
Temperatures will start to drop again on Tuesday. Afternoon highs will be back to the teens by the weekend. The good news is that we will stay above zero for at least a week.
