Salvation Army expanding their fundraising efforts with The Black and White Ball
When you think about the Salvation Army, you might think the color red.
But they are hoping you’ll sign up for The Black and White Ball instead.
Instead of their civic luncheon, which is usually in November, they are moving this event to May, which is when National Salvation Army Week is. The goal is to generate more interest and motivate more people to become involved.
The ball is Thursday, May 16th at the Clyde Malting Building. It will include dinner, DJ, wine pull, and silent auction.
The Director of Development, Cyndi Lewis, said, “It’s going to be a fun event, and a way to interact with potential new donors and supporters.”
Tickets are $100, and 100% will go to the Salvation Army. You’re encouraged to dress up or wear black and white.
