Salvation Army hosts first ever Black and White Ball fundraiser

Black and White Ball for the Salvation Army

A new event for the Salvation Army at Clyde Iron Works.

The Duluth Salvation Army hosted a new fundraising event at Clyde Iron Works on Thursday. The Black and White Ball offered community members a night of music, dancing and fundraising.

The Salvation Army hopes this event will be their new annual event, replacing the annual Civic Luncheon that used to take place in November.

Guests were treated to a social hour with appetizers, mocktails, a sit-down dinner, a dance, a silent auction and more.

“We are so excited about this new event, but we still have tickets available and are hoping that the community will get excited about it too. Ironically, we are hosting an event with a dance, but we need some more dance partners!” says Cyndi Lewis, Director of Development at The Duluth Salvation Army. “I know everyone says this, but it really is for a great cause.”
