Sarah Anderson defeats Jenny Van Sickle for Superior Council District 2 post

Unofficial results in Tuesday’s Wisconsin general election are showing voters in Superior’s 2nd council district have chosen Sarah Anderson over incumbent Jenny Van Sickle.

The 2nd district race is one of two contested races out of five on the ballot.

Sarah Anderson’s public bio says she is 48-years old and has lived in Superior since 2007.

Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2005 and a Masters degree in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University in the Twin Cities in 2009.

Anderson’s bio says she is a licensed mental health professional at St. Louis County Children and Family Services in Duluth. Her background in social work for St. Louis County list experience as a child protection social worker, an adult mental health social worker and a licensed mental health professional in children’s intensive behavioral health.
