Residential structure fire on Baylis Street in Duluth
According to the City of Duluth the Duluth Fire department was made aware of reports of a structure fire on Baylis Street at 2:12 on Saturday September 21st.
The structure was a residential building with four units and the fire was on the porch, a section of the roof, and the attic.
People in the structure at the time of the fire were evacuated, and no injuries have been reported.
Three of the four units were damaged as a result of the fire and the overall cost is estimated to range between $300,000 and $400,000.
An investigation by the Duluth Fire Marshal’s office is ongoing.
