Search warrant uncovers drugs, ammunition, stolen guns, and more
The Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant on Monday that found drugs and ammunition along with various stolen items- including handguns, body armor, a fat tire bike, a stolen generator, and two lawnmowers.
Around 3 p.m., LSVOTF conducted a search warrant on the 110 block on S 67th Ave W.. Authorities saw one of the suspects leave the residence beforehand. This 32-year-old was apprehended at a traffic stop. Three other men were also arrested during the search warrant,
The 32 year-old faces charges of of 3rd Degree Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Stolen Property,
Possession of Firearm and Ammo, Obstructing Legal Process without Force. He also has warrants for Probation Violation, Theft, and Trespassing.
One man faces warrants for failure to register as Predatory Offender and gave a false name to a police officer. Another was arrested for warrants of 5th Degree Assault, Theft, and Fleeing a police officer. And the last of the three men has warrants for False Name, 5th degree Possession, and Theft.
Charges are still pending. The LSVOTF is glad to get these weapons off the streets.
