Cold weather leads to schedule changes

Due to cold and snowy conditions, Second Harvest Northland will be making changes to their program schedules for Tuesday.

Tuesday’s Mobile Pantry Program in Marble and Marcell will be canceled, and rescheduled for Wednesday, January 29. The Marble Mobile Pantry will be at 10:00 a.m. and Marcell’s will be at 1:30 p.m.

The Second Harvest Food Shelf drive thru distribution at Vineyard Fruit of the Vine Food Shelf at 1533 W. Arrowhead Road in Duluth has also been canceled for Tuesday. It will be rescheduled for Friday, January 17 from 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Organizers say the changes are needed to keep community members, staff, and volunteers safe.
