Several chickens lost in Floodwood barn fire

At approximately 6:15 pm on Saturday evening, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputies and numerous fire departments responded to a barn fire in Floodwood Township.
The barn was a total loss, and several chickens died in the fire. No humans were injured, and foul play is not suspected. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Floodwood Fire, Arrowhead Fire, Cromwell Fire, and the Minnesota DNR responded alongside St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
