The United for Veterans Retreat is coming up again in January. Put on by the United Way of Northeastern Minnesota, the get together gives veterans and their families a chance to really connect.

Steve Biondich never thought he’d need a retreat like this one. The longtime steelworker at Minorca saw the flyer at work, and thought why not.

“It turned out to be such a great experience. The ability to network and talk to other people, and learn something as a group, was just fantastic,” he shared.

He and his family attended the 2023 event. The retreat is every other year.
