We’ve seen police officers and firefighters get competitive on the baseball field, but there’s a new competition coming in April.
It’s the first Battle of the Badges Blood Drive for Memorial Blood Centers.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, the Duluth Police Department, Fire Department, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service will compete to see who can bring in the most blood donors for Team Law, Team Fire, or Team Mayo.
Donors are encouraged to sign up ahead of time, but walk-ins will also be accepted.
