Snowfall Reports for April 1-3

This April Fools snow storm was no joke!

The Northland saw strong winds off the lake this week alongside plenty of wet and heavy snow as this Colorado Low carried through the Upper Midwest. The highest snowfall amounts were along the North Shore and more mixed precipitation was observed further east in northern Wisconsin.

The springtime snowstorm started Tuesday night, but the heavy winter weather ramped up Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday morning as the remaining snow bands crossed the Great Lake.
