Spirit Mountain’s 51st Annual ski & snowboard swap begins
Spirit Mountain’s 51st Annual ski & snowboard swap begins, hosted by Team Duluth and partnered with the Ski Hut.
Over the course of four days, hundreds of people offer used ski and snowboard equipment for a good cause. The ski and snowboard swap is Team Duluth’s biggest fundraiser event.
Anyone can bring their used equipment and then donated, resold or purchased at the swap. A portion of the equipment’s commissions go to Team Duluth, along with other donations.
Equipment drop-off is Wednesday, October 26th from 5-7:30 pm, and Thursday, October 27th from 5-7:30 pm at the Spirit Mountain Lower Grand Ave Chalet. You can also register on their website for VIP Night with $20 in advance, or $25 at the door (only 100 total tickets available) you can attend the event ahead of time.
The ski and snowboard swap will take place the following days from Friday through Saturday. All items must be picked up by 3:00pm on Sunday, October 30th. Any equipment that is left will be either donated or recycled.
Team Duluth’s mission is developing on-snow skills and personal growth in young athletes. As a nonprofit, volunteer run organization, Team Duluth coach kids’ skills in alpine race, freestyle, and snowboarding.
