Spirit Mountain slopes to open this weekend

Spirit Mountain has set its opening date for Saturday, November 30. Limited terrain will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m for skiing and snowboarding both Saturday and Sunday.

Due to the limited terrain, tickets will be sold at a reduced price of $50. Spirit Mountain will be open for the weekend only and then will spend next week making more snow.

Spirit Mountain began their snow production Monday, November 25.

“We’re ready to go. Guns are turning on and we’re making snow,” said Director of Resort Services Jon Regenold. “We’ve got snow machines placed all along the hill, and so right now top of the hill is the best temps, but the crews are working down the hill, and as the day progresses all the guns will be on to cover our first trails with that beautiful white.” 

Spirit Mountain is currently hiring and season passes can be purchased now.
