St. Luke’s shares its top baby names for 2022

Nearly 800 babies were born at St. Luke’s from December 1, 2021 through November 30, 2022- which included some new popular names. The most popular girl’s name was Juniper, and there was a seven-way tie for second place- including the names Amelia, Charlotte, Eleanor, Freya, Madeline, Rylee and Violet.
It’s likely that parent drew inspiration from the new Top Gun movie- seven baby Mavericks were born at the hospital, which tied Hudson for the most popular boy’s name.
And an honorable mention for creativity goes to names including Arrowyn, McGregor, Novaroo, Persephone, Pluto and Willoughby.
