Ordean East Middle School students learn about voting and elections
Students at Ordean East Middle School now know who won their mock election.
On Election Day, students at Ordean East Middle School all went and voted in a mock election.
Friday, Global Studies teacher Jodi Timmersman shared the results.
The student body voted for Kamala Harris. That mirrors how the rest of the schools in Minnesota voted.
Gemma Kim, an 8th grader, said it was helpful to go through the process. “I don’t think searching for voting process is does it. Being able to do it was cool.”
