Students graduate from peace officers education program at Fond du Lac, ready to launch careers in law enforcement

Graduation of students from Fond du Lac’s peace officers program

22 students are launching careers in law enforcement after graduating from Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.

A special day for 22 students from the Enhanced Skills Professional Peace Officers Education Program at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.

They graduated from the program in front of friends and family at a ceremony on campus.

Dylan Clark was the student speaker at the event. He told us this group of young people is ready to tackle the challenges. “We are trying to change the image of law enforcement. We definitely think we can make a positive impact.”

He praised the program, saying the instructors and experiences were second to none.

The class motto is: “Dedication to something more important.”

Leaders said there are more than 1100 job openings for law enforcement officers in Minnesota right now.
