Sunday Merch Up presented by the Family Freedom Center kicks off

The Sunday Merch Up event for local entrepreneurs kicked off Sunday August 4th at the Central Hillside Community Center/One Roof parking lot.

Vendors were out selling crafts, art, fashion items, food and more.

The event aims to promote economic growth in the Central Hillside community by providing a space for local entrepreneurs to build their clientele and network with other vendors.

“We are out here trying to provide a business atmosphere in the Hillside community,” said Tim Squalls head coordinator of the Sunday Merch Up event. “Come as you are and sell what you got, and this one was a nice turn out.”

The Sunday Merch Up event is presented by the Family Freedom Center, an organization that seeks to facilitate culturally specific and inclusive spaces aimed to engage, empower, and educate community members in Duluth and the broader Twin Ports area.
