Get Your Food for Your Fireworks! – Super One Plans for the 4th

Super One's preparation for the 4th of July, see what times they are open as well as, trending food items of the holiday with a hot dog fact.

With Independence Day around the corner, people flock to the shelves for the meals they plan to make! The community heads to their local Super One location as everyone is prepares and gets ready for July 4th.

Super One teams begin their preparation for these celebrations months in advance to provide for their community. Susie Marshall says when it comes to the holidays it’s all hands-on deck.
All Super One locations will be open normal business hours on the 4th of July as well.

She shared with us some ways they prepare for the holiday as well as some items that are most commonly bought.

“So, from our grocery side, we see a lot of fresh produce in the summer seasons. Our produce teams work really hard to bring in the freshest and most best quality produce items from corn on the cob, fresh watermelon, ripe cherries, we’ve got it all.

And all of those items are also on sale in our coupon book, which we have going on right now, and also a weekly ad. So double deals to get you ready for the 4th of July. We’re ready to help our customers stretch their dollar and gear up for the 4th of July with the best prices possible.”

Susie shared with us the common trends from the past years that Super One considers. How much ground beef was bought, hot dogs (July is actually National Hot Dog Month), and many other cooking items for when the weather is nice outside.

Super One officials also informed us — that not only are they supplying food for the holidays but are also contributing to the community in other aspects.

“So leading up to the 4th of July, super one locations are actually company-wide having a register pin pad donation campaign. So, when you’re shopping over the 4th of July weekend and through July 15th, when you’re checking out at the register, you’ll see the option to donate to your local VFW or American Legion location.”
