Suspect in the Superior hit and run arrested

UPDATE: Superior Police Department detectives identified and arrested a suspect in the hit and run incident that was initially reported to police on December 14th. His vehicle used in the incident was also recovered. The name of the suspect is being withheld pending formal charges.

According to the Superior Police Department, officers responded to reports of a hit and run in the alley behind TJ Champion’s Bar at 715 Belknap Street at 3:46 am on Saturday, December 14th.

A 25-year-old Superior woman had been reportedly hit by a car and was seriously injured.

Good Samaritans on the scene brought the victim to the hospital before authorities arrived

An investigation is ongoing into the incident.
