Superior man facing domestic abuse charges

A Superior man is expected to make his first court appearance Tuesday for a number of charges of domestic abuse and bail jumping.
Superior authorities were called by a woman Monday evening while she was at work. She told police that her ex-husband had been making threatening statements. He was alone with their children at the time, and was making additional threats of harm toward the kids.
Superior Police’s Emergency Response and Crisis Response Teams were called to the home.
The man was taken into custody without incident. He faces multiple counts of felony and misdemeanor bail jumping, domestic abuse and disorderly conduct, as well as intimidation charges.
The suspect also had two extraditable warrants for his arrest.
