UPDATE: Superior Police say missing man has been found safe

The Superior Police department has located 62-year-old Richard J Elliot who had been missing since January 8th, 2025.

Original story – Richard J Elliot left for work in Duluth the morning of the 8th then went to church. It was explained that he got lost and then went to the Duluth Transit Authority to attempt to get a bus back home to Superior, Wisconsin.

Elliot is described as being 6′, 145lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes.

Elliot has no vehicles or phone and was last seen in a dark colored winter hat, a gray zip up jacket and jeans.
